Two scholastic award-winning school systems serve students in the Mooresville area: the Mooresville Graded School District and the Iredell-Statesville School System. The Mooresville branch of Mitchell Community College offers classes for students working toward associate degrees, diplomas and certificates, as well as continuing education courses.
